My name is Matthew J Doughty and this what LIFE IN A DAY on Earth was like for me in the year 2010.
I am a writer - producer - performer and I've been on a spiritual journey thru music for the past 29 years. I'm turning 30 soon, and I am excited about it! This is OUR DECADE! It's Gen X & Gen Y's turn! As I've been reflecting on this Mass Observation Video Project, the questions that I have are:
- What will humankind think about GOD, War, and Organized Religion when future generations watch this video time capsule?
- What is it that we're doing to make the world a better place… to Improve LIFE IN A DAY on Earth for future generations? Now, That's Good Question!
My story is for all of the Musicians - Writers and Tech's out there. (Yes, in 2010 we "still" use CDs - BluRay is the best they could come up with after DVD? We still wonder what will take over mp3? ProTools? Apple MacBook computers?)
My story is for all of the Lovers of Love out there! Take strength in your Passions!
Here, humankind sits poised at the edge of eternity… our Future Generations in constant peril due to our ancestors' cavalier attitude towards War.

- what do you love the most?
MUSIC and LOVE. They are my guiding stars on the horizon… each in 3 parts.
- MUSIC (Write, Produce, Perform)
- LOVE (Family, Friends, Soulmate)
- what do you fear the most?
Fear of Abandonment. Fear of not being Loved. Is that Universal? I understand that it was my Early pain that I had to OVERCOME in this Life. I have Released Fear from my Reality. I live for Love (GOD) and I let my Heart call me forward through the Open Doors of my Future.

I've been re-watching "What the Bleep Do We Know?!" and "The Secret" with my roommate lately, and I've been reminded of how powerful our FOCUS, INTENTION, and CORE BELIEFS are to our Reality.
Every Breath is a new chance to Change Everything! You saw how I lived MY life today.
