In addition to writing original music and lyrics in a dark, quiet room... I am occasionally blessed by the input of other creative souls. This week, you get a treat! Once again, Three New Songs for your listening pleasure... but this time, they're all co-writes.
- "SOMEDAY": This 1st song of the New Year wouldn't be the same without the help of my Floridian friend, Kyra Eve Wyatt. She has always inspired me with her words and her poetry, but this time she basically gift-wrapped the chorus!
- "HOME IS HERE": In the early hours of my 2007 birthday (Oct 19), three Wisconsin college students and I collaborated to create this song. I was On Tour with We Shot the Moon at the time, and while the rest of the party played Guitar Hero in the other room, Kyle, Shawn, Cole, and I found a new definition of "Home".
- "SWEET RELEASE": Krista Meadows is one of the most talented female musicians and songwriters I have ever met. It is my honor to have written this with her in a spare bedroom, and later, to have tracked it LIVE at the Pus Cavern, Sacramento.
